As a Christian husband, father, 4th generation rancher, men's resiliency coach, endurance athlete, and officer in the Kansas Army National Guard, I've witnessed the negative effects of stress firsthand. Through my coaching business, RanchFIT, I aim to create resilient leaders by reducing stress and encouraging the pursuit of physically challenging endeavors. By providing tools and fostering a supportive community, we help individuals achieve their goals and conquer life's challenges.
Join us at Sachse Family Angus on Saturday, November 7th for our 1st Annual RanchFIT Bataan Honor Ruck. Nestled near the rolling hills of Leavenworth, Kansas, these events offer a trail hike through pasture, hayfield, and crop ground in the heart of the Sachse family farming and ranching operation.
We are officially partnering with Team Red, White & Blue (Team RWB) for this event. Their mission is to enrich the lives of America’s veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity—a mission that hits home for us here at RanchFIT. As such, 15% of ALL registration fees will be donated directly to Team RWB to support veteran health and wellness programs.
Come be a part of this transformative experience and challenge the status quo in every area of your life!

The Full Honor Option (26.2 Miles)
"For those seeking the ultimate test of endurance, the 26.2-mile 'Full Honor' course is a true marathon of the spirit. This grit-filled tribute to the heroes of Bataan takes you through 4 laps and some change of our rugged 10K course. By the time you hit those final miles, you’ll have navigated every hayfield and winding trail the ranch has to offer, forcing you to find clarity and strength when the weight gets heavy. This isn't just a ruck; it’s where you prove what you're capable of."
The 20K Option (12.4 Miles)
Double the distance from our 10K, double the resolve. Our 20K option is designed for the leader who isn't satisfied with just the entry point. By tackling two laps of our rugged ranch course, you’ll dig deeper into your stamina and grit. You'll cross the expansive hayfields and technical crop ground trails twice, forcing you to find a new gear when the fatigue sets in. This 12.4-mile journey is the ultimate middle ground—a true endurance test that honors the mission through sustained effort and unwavering resiliency.
The 10K Option (6.2 Miles)
Step up to the challenge with our 10K option, designed for those ready to push their limits and embrace the rugged beauty of our family's ranch. This course offers an exhilarating mix of terrains—from expansive hayfields to winding trails through crop grounds—providing a solid physical and mental test of your resiliency. It’s the perfect entry point for those looking to honor the mission and find their focus.

"One of the best courses."
"10 out of 10! I loved it.
"Highly recommend."
The cows on the course made it really feel natural. Could have been crossing a field in medieval Scotland or something. The pond, the creek crossing, the final long weave into the middle...the course was just really well done as far as a mix of slow and fast. I did a lot of races in 2023. Over 60. This course was one of my top 10...maybe top 5.

The terrain was more difficult than I remember or expected, but that's part of the challenge (I kept telling myself that).

Camaraderie with the others doing the same thing. Also enjoyed how the trail had different degrees of difficulty, also love the scenery. Thought it was good it was open to people of all ages and abilities.
